Saudi Arabia Participates in 4th Saudi-Swiss Financial Dialogue
Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Finance Mohammed Aljadaan headed the Saudi delegation participating in the 4th Saudi-Swiss Financial Dialogue held in the Swiss city of Zurich, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The dialogue saw the convergence of numerous senior officials from the ministry, Saudi Central Bank, Insurance Authority, Financial Sector Development Program, and Fintech Saudi.
Aljadaan stressed the significance of the annual dialogue in boosting the Saudi-Swiss relations and achieving their financial common interests.
The event brought together the Saudi officials with the Swiss Minister of Finance and Vice President of the Swiss Confederation, Federal Chancellor Ms. Karin Keller-Sutter.
The event presented a valuable opportunity to discuss the financial institutions’ role in preventing various financial crises.

Switzerland has been one of the most significant trading partners for the Kingdom, with more than 100 Swiss companies in Saudi Arabia.
In this context, Aljadaan explained that the Kingdom is currently looking forward to unleashing new avenues to deepen the cooperative relations between both countries.
These new avenues include fostering the bilateral coordination, exploring new markets and the best trading practices, and enhancing financial technologies in both countries.
Furthermore, the participants delved into multiple discussions concerning the following areas:
Macroeconomic outlook
Multilateral international cooperation
Financial sector developments
The latest developments in banking and digital finance
Advancement in insurance and sustainable finance
