Saudi Air Navigation Services Co. (SANS) stated that the Kingdom’s air traffic saw exceptional growth and unprecedented levels in H1 2023, especially in June, compared with a year earlier.
The total number of flights increased by 26% year-on-year (YoY) to 403,220 in the first half of 2023, and the number of domestic and international flights reached 305,160, SANS tweeted.
The total number of aircraft served grew by 23% YoY to 14,800 in H1 2023, while the total number of destinations rose 15% YoY to 7,153.
