Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Westminster.
Police were called at about 17:35hrs on Friday, 20 January to reports of a white BMW in collision with a pedestrian on Wellington Road at the junction with Wellington Place, NW8.
The 43-year-old male pedestrian was on a crossing at the time of the collision.
He was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service; he remains in a critical but stable condition.
The driver stopped at the scene. There have been no arrests.
Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating.
