Project Description
The sustainability of a timber Company depends largely on sustainable forest resources. We therefore attach a lot of seriousness to the conservation of our forest reserves/concessions. The success of this is founded on the principle that only collaborative action will result in significant change. By this, we work closely with local communities, FSD, regional, national and international conservation groups and companies to ensure that our practices are sustainable.
This is evidenced by our forest certification programme which ensures that all our forest operations meet Sustainable Forest Management Standards. i.e. Environmentally Responsible Socially Beneficial and Economically Viable.
We always make sure that, our customers and other consumers of our products are buying from a source that complies with sustainable forests management practices and thereby providing an incentive for responsible forest management.
