Officials say she later returned the next day and tried to take a bottle of Chardonnay.
Additionally, this prompted the staff to try to intervene. After arresting her, officers discovered the stolen bottle concealed in a body cavity while she was in custody.

Twenty-four hours later, she reportedly returned and tried again, only for the situation to escalate in a way that ended with an arrest, a hospital trip, and multiple charges. She is now facing two counts of retail fraud, one count of smuggling, and trespassing—charges that escalated quickly from a liquor store dispute to a much more serious legal situation.
