A victim was bleeding out onto the floor after an attack saw police cordon off a street in Oxford with crime scene tape.
The incident occurred at 4.50pm yesterday (Friday, February 27), as there was an altercation between two men in St Clement’s Street.
One man was thrown to the floor and assaulted, and photographs from the scene show the victim bleeding out onto the ground.
When Thames Valley Police (TVP) officers arrived, those involved had dispersed, so no arrests have been made in connection with the incident as of yet.

The police force is now asking any witnesses to the affray incident to come forward and help with the ongoing investigation.
Investigating officer PC Zack Trigwell, said: “I am appealing to anybody who was in the area at the time and witnessed this incident to please come forward.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam, CCTV or mobile phone footage that may assist this investigation.
“Alternatively, to report information to us, you can contact us online or by calling 101, quoting the reference 43260099079, or via the independent charity Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

One bystander, who wished to remain anonymous, saw the police scene watch in place later on in the evening, and remarked how long the taped off section was.
They said: “I have never seen such a long police tape- it covers about 10 houses.
“There are officers present as well as an ambulance.
“Officers are constantly guarding the taped-off area, and the buses can’t stop at the bus stop because of the police and ambulance vehicles.
“Buses are stopping further down on St Clement’s.”
