The official website for the television anime adaptation of Koucha Agasawa’s Seihantai na Kimi to Boku (You and I Are Polar Opposites) manga revealed the production staff, teaser visual (pictured), and first promotional video on Tuesday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2026.

Agasawa originally drew the romantic comedy manga on the Shounen Jump+ web magazine as a one-shot in January 2021 before beginning regular serialization in May 2022. The manga ended its over 3.5 year-run with 65 chapters in November 2024. Shueisha published the eighth and final volume on Tuesday.
Shueisha’s Manga Plus platform began publishing the chapters in English in June 2022. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in October 2023 and published the fourth volume on February 4, with the fifth volume scheduled to go on sale on May 6.
