New York Fashion Week has officially wrapped for the season, but we’re only beginning to dissect everything we saw. Well over 60 runway shows—plus countless other presentations and appointments—later, the Glamour staff is still obsessing over a few choice outfits. The overall vibe of the spring-summer 2026 shows was loose, relaxed, and minimalist, exemplified by labels like Kallmeyer and TWP. But a few higher-energy shows, like Luar and Tyler McGillivary, still caught our eye. Study up on the spring NYFW collections below—and prepare to bookmark plenty of these pieces.
1. Kallmeyer

“Daniela Kallmeyer is the master of easy elegance,” says contributor Aemilia Madden. “While the runway looks were mostly in muted colors, I loved the way she paired them together. This suede jacket is on my must-have list for the months ahead—same with these blue-green trousers.”

Henry Zankov is one of the most exciting emerging voices in New York—a real insider’s designer. His unique approach to color, pattern, and texture resulted in pure alchemy this season—his first runway collection—with graphic stripes and Technicolor sequins throughout. This look should be all the inspiration you need to take some bigger swings with your evening wardrobe.
3. Altuzarra

Although Altuzarra’s spring collection was ostensibly inspired by AI—the impossibility of separating the real from the unreal—you can’t tell it from the clothes. This ensemble, which is stuck in the mind of Glamour global head of editorial content Samantha Barry, exudes easy, understated elegance.

Madden says she always looks forward to the Tory Burch show, and this season did not disappoint. “The retro, ’30s-inspired dress silhouettes were some of my favorites,” she says. “They felt like a nice shift away from all the structured tailoring on the runways.”
5. Pipenco

When life gives you 900 lemons, make a dress out of them. Glamour associate director of programming and creative development Anastasia Sanger can’t stop thinking about the finale dress from emerging label Pipenco’s latest presentation. Styled with a chunky cuff and showstopper earrings, it was the perfect summation of the show’s ode to childlike wonder.
6. Eckhaus Latta

The design at Eckhaus Latta is only getting better and better each season. And this look is defined by a newfound sense of lightness; pieces and ensembles were more minimalist than usual, bringing to mind the best work of Helmut Lang. Trust me: This is what everyone in downtown Manhattan will be wearing come spring.
7. Campillo

The level of craftsmanship at Campillo left me in awe; the techniques at play, including some playful, breathtaking weaving, lent everything a handmade, emotional quality. I even saw some fellow showgoers shed a tear or two—a rarity at these things. I especially love this look for its craft—look at that pattern on the vest!—and for resuscitating the waist-layering look that almost felt played out.

Glasses on a string! Trish Wescoat Pound’s spring collection seemingly found its muse in an updated Nancy Meyers protagonist: unfussy separates and laid-back accessories styled with gardening hats and Birkenstock Arizona sandals. I’ve seen this movie, and I want in.
9. Proenza Schouler

“I’m so excited to see Rachel Scott begin to make her mark at Proenza Schouler,” says Madden. “I’ve loved her brand, Diotima, for years, and this is the first taste of how she’s bringing her point of view into the codes of such a classic and beloved New York label.”
10. Khaite

Khaite’s spring show cemented a lot of needs on my current wish list, including leather bombers, dark-wash jeans, and polka dots. But this look pushed me the furthest into the unexpected—why, yes, I do want embroidered flowers, burgundy trousers, and gigantic belt buckles for the month ahead, now that you mention it. Sold.
11. Luar

Designer Raul Lopez found inspiration in Carnival this season, incorporating sprays of feathers and bright colors that feel at once like celebration and armor. Perhaps the best interpretation of the theme, this look uses laser-cut leather to mimic ostrich and lets an acid-yellow backing peek through. It’s an exciting material innovation for the brand—and just plain cool.
12. Tyler McGillivary

In an expansive mermaid-themed collection populated by a refreshingly diverse cast of models—including Aquamarine actor Sara Paxton—this look stood out as one of the smartest. The cascading denim “looked like waves crashing,” Sanger says.
13. Wiederhoeft

Designer Jackson Wiederhoeft’s attention to detail is unparalleled. Just look at this seemingly simple strapless wool gown, a favorite of associate fashion editor Samantha Gasmer’s; it’s encrusted with a leaf-shaped collection of crystals that bring to mind a fig leaf and a belly-button piercing. The entire spring collection is filled with similar winks.

Perhaps the best—or most honest—styling at New York Fashion Week happened at LII, an up-and-coming label with razor-sharp layering and color combinations. Until I can buy this collection of tops next spring, I’ll be styling all of my T-shirts and tank tops on top of each other.
15. Meruert Tolegen

Meruert Tolegen excels at showpiece looks, but her takes on the simple stuff—say, a cardigan and a skirt—might just be more impressive. There’s plenty to learn from the layering on display here, and you don’t need to wait until spring to copy it at home.
