Charles Watson and Isabella Summers have shared their soundtrack to new film Erupcja.
Out now, the soundtrack is released via Invada Records, and it acts as the audio counterpart to Pete Ohs acclaimed new film. The director oversees an unconventional love story, in which Charli xcx heads to Warsaw with her boyfriend. Fearing an imminent proposal, she reconnect with an old friend, Nel (Lena Góra), the two then traversing the city as they unpick old memories. Highly collaborative and improvisational in tone, the score mirrors this questing feel, with Charles Watson and Isabella Summers responding to the nimble touch defined by both director and cast. Indie songwriter Charles Watson is formerly of long-time CLASH favourites Slow Club, while his own solo and collaborative catalogue is well worth seeking out. For her part, Isabella Summers worked with Florence + The Machine for two decades, while her score work includes the Hulu limited series Little Fires Everywhere and Apple TV+’s dark comedy Physical.
