
Hardwood timber Opposition leaders fight back over speaking rights row

The Dáil speaking-time row hasn’t gone away. Following a vote of the Dáil Reform Committee that saw the Government’s proposals accepted, furious opposition parties have agreed to withdraw important co-operation measures.
The Tánaiste has described the move as “utterly childish”, but the opposition has said the Government’s actions are “dangerous”.
